Kathy Moore Wilhoite

Kathy M. Wilhoite, 56, of Florence and formerly of Owenton, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice Center in Edgewood. Born September 4, 1952, in Owen County she was the daughter of the late Delmar Moore and was preceded in death by her siblings, Vickie Jacobs, Judy Moore and Gene Moore. Kathy was a former custodian supervisor at the Florence Mall and a member of the Baptist Faith. Kathy is survived by her husband, Gary Wilhoite; her mother, Alba Powell Wilhoite of Owenton; her daughter, Jacqueline (Mike) Lubbers of Dearborn County, IN; three brother, Gary, Dale and Harlan Moore all of Owenton; four sisters, Carol Patton, Joyce Robinson and Pat Caldwell all of Owenton and Paula Stark of Gallatin County; two grandchildren, Cheyenne Lubbers and Nathan Williamson; one great grandchild, Ronyn Williamson and two step grandchildren, Cacey and Josh Lubbers. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, March 16th, from 4-8 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home with Bro. Everett Hawkins and Bro. David Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
