Kathy Raye Keith

Kathy Raye Stewart Keith, age 73, of Owenton, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, in Lexington, KY.

Born October 24, 1948, in Covington, KY, she was the daughter of the late Marvin Stewart and Geneva "Ginny" O'Brien Walker and the widow of Mike Keith. Kathy was a retired Human Resources Administrator with Three Rivers District Health Department. She was a proud member of the DAR, and a longtime member of the Tuesday Bridge Club.  She loved reading and raising flowers but absolutely hated weeding the flowers. Kathy was a talented singer and proud of her work with the republican committee and being an election poll worker.  Above all, she loved her family and being Mima to her grandchildren.

She will be missed by her sons, Jamie (Lena) Keith and Chris (Tabitha) Keith; her grandchildren, Mackenzie, Kaleb, Oskar, Trudy, Nick, Abby, Douglas, Casey, Logan, Willow, and Tre; her sisters, Beth (Dave Smith) Stewart, Lynn (Ray) Vaught, and Laura (Larry) Duvall.  Kathy is also survived by a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  A memorial reception will be held, at the Seminary Street location, on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 4 - 6 pm. Donations in Kathy's memory made to the Owen County Children's Fund.
