Katherine Louise Cobb Hundley

Katherine Louise Cobb Hundley, 91, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, November 08, 2009, at the Owenton Manor. Born November 3, 1918, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Newt and Artie Brumback Cobb and the widow of Noble Nash Hundley. She was also preceded in death by seven siblings. Katherine was a beautician in Owenton for over 50 years. She was a member of the Owenton First Baptist Church, Owen County Women’s Club and the Owenton Homemakers. Mrs. Hundley is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Roland) Zimmerman of Cincinnati, Sandra (Rex) Stafford of Owenton; five grandchildren, Matthew Zimmerman of Cincinnati, Rebecca (Perry) Hasselbeck of Loveland, OH, Rex Dean Stafford of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Candace Stafford of Frankfort and Kitty (Tim) Cammack of Owenton; three great-grandsons, Kevin Blayton Stafford, Noah Rees and Nash Curtis Cammack; one brother, Virgil Cobb of Owenton and a number of nieces and nephews. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald and New Funeral Home in Owenton. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11th from 11:00 a.m. until 1 p.m. with the funeral following at 1:00 p.m. at 202 North Main Street, Owenton, Kentucky. Interment will be in the Owenton I.O.O.F Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Owenton First Baptist Church at 213 North Main Street, Owenton, Kentucky 40359.
