Karen Sue Willhoite

Frankfort - Karen Sue Willhoite, age 66, of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, July 27th. Born January 10, 1946 in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Willard Riddle and Virginia Ruth Rose of Frankfort. Ms. Willhoite was a graduate of LaFayette High School, a member of the Frankfort First United Methodist Church, had retired from the Department of Transportation and was a former admission clerk at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. Surviving are her sons, Willis Willhoite of Monterey and Brian and Rusty Willhoite of Frankfort; her brother Jim Rose of Frankfort; and five grandchildren, Jessica, Jordan, Abbey, Emily and Kelsey. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, July 31st from 11am to 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Vernon Carpenter presiding. Burial will be in the Frankfort Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
