June Ellen Raborn, born on July 25, 1944, in Louisa, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 13, 2025. She was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, whose love and kindness touched the lives of many.

June was the proud mother of four children: Sue Smith, Paul Boyce, Melissa Brown, and Christopher Raborn. She is also survived by her brother Delbert Skeens II and her legacy continues through her thriving family, which includes 13 beloved grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She often expressed her joy in watching her family grow, and her role as matriarch was one she embraced with warmth and dedication.

June is preceded in death by her son, Carl Boyce, as well as her siblings: Clay Skeens, Steven Skeens, and Susan Robertson. Each of these family members held a special place in her heart, and their absence has left an indelible mark on the family.

A Memorial Gathering in honor of June Ellen Raborn will be held on August 23, 2025, starting at 3:00 PM and will take place at 2600 Swope Rd, Owenton, KY 40359. This gathering will provide family and friends an opportunity to celebrate her incredible life, share stories, and find comfort in each other's company as they reflect on the profound impact she made throughout her years.
