June Gayle Dews
March 3, 1950 — June 16, 2018
Born March 13, 1950, in Owen County, he was the son of the late George and Myrtle Gaines Dews. He was retired from Semicon Associates and continued to work part-time at Wal-Mart.
Survivors include his sister, Georgiann Locker of Owenton and three brothers, Tommy (Ann) Dews of Owenton, Larry (Darlene) Dews of New Columbus and Clarence Dews of Lusby's Mill. He was loved dearly by his nieces and nephews, Sherry Hopkins, Ryan Dews, Laura Gambrell, Tammy Mason, Michael Dews and Susan Dews. Seven great nieces and nephews also survive.
McDonald & New Funeral homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Saturday, June 23, 2018, from 10 am until 11 am. Memorial services will follow at 11 am. Private inurnment will take place in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
