Judy Lee Throckmorton, age 60, of Cynthiana, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center.
Born August 12, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Harold McCormick and Allie Gaines Davis.
A devoted animal lover, Judy shared a special bond with her cherished dog, Diesel, who was always by her side. She also found joy in caring for the neighborhood cat, “Lonerman,” ensuring he never went hungry. Her compassionate heart extended beyond people, embracing all of God’s creatures. Among her greatest joys in life was being a grandmother. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren, showering them with love and endless affection. She also believed in celebrating life and making the most of every moment. Whether sharing a drink with friends, exchanging stories, or simply enjoying good company, she knew how to brighten a room and create lasting memories.
Judy will be missed by her children, Stephanie Watts, Steven McCormick, and Raymond Wainscott; her grandchildren, Destinee Watts, Tyler Watts, Megan Watts, Michael Watts, Justin McCormick, and Dustyn McCormick; her great-grandchildren, Leeanna, Everlee, and Mark Marsh; Hunter, Brilee, and Maddie McCormick; siblings, Linda Sammons, Jeffrey McCormick, and Clara Hammond; her companion, Friend Southerland; and her dear friends, Linda and Isaiah Morris.
