Judy Neal Brooks

Judy Neal Brooks, age 71, of Owenton passed away Sunday, March 30, 2014 at her home.  Born May 6, 1942, in Owenton she was the daughter of the late W.T. and Aretta Juett Neal.  Judy was  bookkeeper in Owenton for 12 years and retired from State Government with 25 years of service as an accountant.  She was also a member of the Richland Baptist Church.Survivng are her sister Joan (Don) Hedrick; her brother Larry (Sandra) Neal both of Owenton; several nieces and nephews, Sally Anne Hedrick, Kristi Pruitt, Dr. Stephen Hedrick, Jonathan Neal, Michael Neal and Larae Sloan.  Several great nieces and nephews also survive.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 from 11am until 1pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1pm with Bro. Jesse Bourne presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
