Juanita Osborne

Juanita Osborne, age 91, of Owenton, passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Carroll County Memorial Hospital.

Born July 12th, 1934, she was the last living child of the late John Spenneberg and Edna Pearl Toomey Bellar. Juanita held a variety of jobs in her life including being a car hop at Parkette Drive in, working at Union Underwear, Green Valley, doing in home care, and working as a nurse and caregiver at the Owenton Manor for the majority of her life. She found joy in the simple things like fishing, dancing, and playing cards (her loved ones claim that she always cheated in their games). But above all she loved her family and found the most joy in being a mother to her children.

Jaunita will be missed by her children, Melissa (Timmy) Snider, Edna Mae Delling, Linda (Russell) Richmond, Frank (Mary) Cook, Sam (Judy) Cook, Willie (Samantha) Osborne, Joan (Elmer) Lyons, and Ricky Osborne; her 26 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sons, Evan Wayne Spenneberg, Anthony Kemper Cook; her daughter, Geraldine Haney; and her siblings, Louis Spenneberg, George Spenneberg, Billy Spenneberg, Ella Frances Watkins, and Christine Stewart.
