Joyce Vastine-Cote`

Joyce Vastine-Cote`, age 95, of Alexandria, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Owenton Center.

Born January 9, 1927, in Mabscott, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd Barber Nicely and Mabel Ora Walker Nicely Porterfield. She was the widow of Jack Grey, James Vastine, and Gene Cote`and was also preceded in death by her son, David Grey, and her brother, Bill L. Nicely. Joyce was a homemaker and an artist who enjoyed drawing and painting. She was a long-time resident of Vero Beach, FL where she was an active member of Living Lord Lutheran Church, for as long as her health allowed.

She will be. missed by her son, Stephen Grey; granddaughters, Stacy Lynn Grey and Lindsey Patrice Grey; six great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  There will be no services at this time.
