Joyce Ann Jones

Joyce Ann Jones, age 64, of Owenton passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington. Born January 26, 1950 in Owen County she was the daughter of the late Chester and Josephine Hensley Hammond and the widow of Howard Jones. She was also preceded in death by her great grandson, Luke Donald Floyd. Joyce was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Ronnie Woods, Howard "Lee" Jones and Brian Jones; her brothers Billy Hammond and Leroy Beckham; her sisters, Shirley Wright, Nancy Hammond and Mary Lou Goodrich; ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Wednesday, September 24, 2014 from 11am until 2pm. Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Jerry Ison presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery.
