Joyce Blankenship Hamner

Joyce Kathryn Blankenship Hamner, 76, passed away  Friday February 8, 2019. She was born on May 20, 1942 the daughter of the late Shadie R. and Ruby Noel Hudnall. She was also preceded by three brothers, Jimmy, Delbert and Lloyd Hudnall. She was a retired nurse's aid, attended New Life Church of God, loved her grandchildren, playing cards, fishing, camping and her dogs. Surviving are her husband Joseph Hamner, her children, Carol (Brad) Wilhoite, Debra (Rick) Viock, Janie (Michael) Wainscott, Jackie Ray (Nichole) Blankenship Jr., Jessica (Scott) Durham, Trelena (Bill) Robertson and Joseph William (Connie) Hamner, her siblings, Anna Prather, Edith Prather, Barbara Gorski, Shadie R. Hudnall Jr., Danny Hudnall and Kathy Wainscott. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday Feb. 12 from 4 to 8 and the funeral is on Wednesday at 1PM both at McDonald & New-Main St. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery and memorials may be given to the activities fund at Owenton Manor.
