Joyce Mae Edmondson

Joyce Mae Edmondson, age 86, of Glencoe passed away at her home October 30, 2021.

Born July 31, 1935, in Bethel Ridge in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Lester and Talitha Lawhorn Leever. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edmondson, and her brothers, Ronald Leever and Maurice Leever. Joyce was a Program Analysts for the IRS and worked in Washington, DC. She enjoyed sewing, reading, embroidery and crafts. Joyce liked spending her free time doing genealogy research and traveling. She and her husband loved the Florida Keys in the winter, especially Little Torch Key.

Joyce is survived by her children; Andy (Mary Dawn) Edmondson, Matt (Necole) Edmondson, Jackie Couture and Samatha (Patrick) Colligan; 12 grandchildren an 14 great grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held at our Main Street location on November 3, 2021 from 12 PM to 2 Pm funeral to follow at 2 PM with Bro. Larry Gilliam presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
