Jospehine C. Henderson

Josephine C. Henderson, age 90, of Owenton passed away Saturday, April 28, 2018 at the Grant Center.Born August 3, 1927 in Pike County, she was the daughter of the late Roy and Pebble Potter Childers and the widow of William E. Henderson.  Josephine was a retired tax preparer and bookkeeper and a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.Josephine is survived by her sons, Bob (Pam) Henderson and Roy (Tracey) Henderson; her two sisters, Carol Paytosh and Jackie Bryant; three grandchildren, Kellie Sexton, Adam Henderson and Stephanie Tirino and her five great grandchildren, Cody, Caleb, Cole, Brady and Katherine.  McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 from 11 am til 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
