Josiph Lee Villarreal

Josiph "JoJo" Lee Villareal, age 22, of Owenton, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2020, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.

Born March 27, 1998, in Edgewood, KY, he was the son of Oscar Villarreal, Jr. and Jennifer Sluder.  Josiph was employed in the construction trade. He was a free spirit who loved everyone he met and enjoyed making other people laugh. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, hunting, riding dirtbikes and quads and hanging out with friends around a bonfire.  Most of all he passionate about fast cars.

He is survived by his parents, Jennifer (Shawn May) Sluder of New York and Oscar Villarreal, Jr.; his siblings, Oscar (Tonya) Villarreal, Darrold Villarreal, and Kyler Villarreal; his grandmothers, Barbara Covia and Lunia Woody and his nieces and nephews, Tylion, Damien, Xandell and Bentley. A host of extended family and friends also survive.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A private memorial service will be held.
