Jonny M. Minch

Jonathan "Jonny" Minch, age 63, of the Hesler community in Owen County, passed away at his home, Monday, May 11th. Born September 22, 1951, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Roy and Margery Minch. Mr. Minch was a life long resident of Owen County, a member of the Richland Baptist Church and a lineman and crew foreman for Bowlin Energy. He is survived by his daughters, Dana Minch (Josh) Cobb and Mary Helen Minch (Shawn) Smith both of Owenton; his sister, Connie MInch of Georgetown as well as four grandchildren, Kennedi Dermon, Guy Cobb and Tanner and Ty Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be his caregivers, Janice Dunavent, Emily Buford and Mary Lou Walker. Pallbearers will be his grandchildren, Kennedi Dermon, Tanner Smith, Ty Smith, Guy Cobb as well as Brandon Gibbs, Buddy Walker, Chris Perkins and Bob Napier. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, May 14th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday at the funeral home with Bro. Todd Toole presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
