Johnny J Hearn

Johnny J. Hearn, 68, of Jonesville passed away Saturday July 23, 2022 in Edgewood. He was born in Carroll County the son of the late Bennie and Lorena Lee Hearn. He was also preceded by his siblings, Annie Mae Lutz, Howard Bennie Hearn, William Thomas Hearn, Phyllis Jean Rose, Mariam Jo and Karen Lorena Hearn. Johnny was a shipping clerk for Dyke Industries. He was chairman of the deacons at Macedonia Baptist Church and cut the grass for many years. He was proud of doing that job and was usually first in Jonesville to mow. He enjoyed washing vehicles and always kept a good clean Ford. He also enjoyed camping, hallmark movies and golfing with friends. He mostly loved his family especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Beverly Cammack Hearn whom he married on April 24, 1976, his two sons, Josh (Megan) Hearn and Brant (Cayman) Hearn, three brothers, Richard Wayne, Bobby Allen and Glenn Ray Hearn, two sisters, Brenda Sue Goodman and Nancy Scrogham and six grandchildren, Kristin, Dillion, Katelyn, Brody, Colson and Ben Hearn. Visitation will be on Tuesday July 26 from 4 to 8 at McDonald & New - Seminary St. The funeral will be at Macedonia Baptist Church on Wednesday at 1PM with visitation starting at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
