Johnny Bob Jump

Johnny Bob Jump, age 65, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024 at his home.

Born August 12, 1958, in Owenton, he was the son of the late John Frank and Iris Laverne Smith Jump. He was preceded in death by his son, Chad Robert Jump, and his siblings, Ronnie Jump and Linda Patton. Johnny Bob was a talented carpenter who owned and operated his own construction company. He was also President of the Owen County Rod & Gun Club and enjoyed singing karaoke.

Johnny Bob is survived by his wife, Debbie; children, Jesse Jump (Brittany Melford) and Bobbi Marie Steffen (Phil); grandchildren, Grace, Rose, Ava, and Jade; and his siblings, Peggy Williams, Jeff Jump, and Joyce Tuggle. Also surviving are two step children Vickie (Casey) Jones and Scott Osborne along with four step grandchildren.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at the Rod & Gun Club on Friday January 26 at 6PM. Johnny Bob's wishes were to be cremated and buried with his family.
