John Dean Goldsberry

John Dean Goldsberry, 61, passed away December 11, 2015 at New Horizons Medical Center. Born January 8, 1954, in Owen County, he was son of the late Johnny W. Goldsberry. He worked all his life, beginning his career at Kraft Foods and ending as a toolmaker for Gotech. He was a 1972 graduate of Owen County High School and enjoyed hunting, fishing and working on old vehicles. Surviving are his mother Nadine Stewart Goldsberry; his wife Janet Clements Goldsberry and his two sons, John Cole and Matthew Tyler Goldsberry. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Man Street location on Wednesday, December 16, 2015 from 11AM until 2PM. Funeral services will follow at 2PM with Bro. Bro Paul Briscoe officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorials may be made to the Owen County Children's Fund.
