John Guy Ducker

John Guy Ducker, age 79, of Owenton passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at his home.

Born December 10, 1939, in Covington, KY he was the son of the late Woodrow and Nora Elizabeth Ducker. John served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a truck driver for many years, having worked for Hydraulic Specialists, Celotex and the Owen County Road Department. He was a great mechanic and enjoyed restoring old cars. He also enjoyed being outdoors and especially hunting.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou McNulty Ducker, who he married on August 16, 1975; his children, Evelyn F. Wheeler, John W. Ducker and E. Scott Ducker.  He is also survived by his grandchildren, Brandon Chase Wheeler, Brian Chad Wheeler, Jenna Ducker, Abram Ducker and Landon Ducker.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 4 - 8 pm. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday with Bro. Jared Gullion and Bro. Curt Smith presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International.
