Jo Ann Columbia

Jo Ann Columbia, 74, of Sparta, passed away Thursday, December 3, 2020, at St. Elizabeth - Ft. Thomas. She was born June 12, 1946, the daughter of the late James Franklin Tudor Sr. and Betty Million Frazier Tudor. She was the widow of Robert G. Columbia I and was also preceded by her brother James Franklin Tudor Jr. JoAnn was a 1964 graduate of Owen County High School and a member of the Jonesville Methodist Church. She was a registered nurse and retired from the Owen County Hospital. JoAnn is survived by her two sons, James Edward Columbia (Jessica) of Tennessee and Robert G. Columbia II (Kathryn) of Sparta. She considered her two daughters-in-law as her own daughters. Also surviving are her five grandchildren, Thomas James Columbia, Lauren Nicole Columbia, Arielle (Dustin) Rosenbaum, Emily Columbia, and Isaiah Columbia, and a great-grandson, Talon James Columbia. Her family was the most important thing in her life and she will be dearly missed by everyone. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Private services will be held with Bro. Emory Eldridge officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
