Jim Osborne

James A. "Jim" Osborne, age 79, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.

Born July 15, 1939, in Kenton County, KY, he was the son of the late Ace Porter Osborne and Evelyn White Osborne and was preceded in death by his nephew, Troy Riddle and brothers, Ira and Richard Osborne. Jim served his county in the United States Army and was retired from Bendix. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Phyllis Shelton Osborne; his ister, Shirley Riddle; nieces and nephews, Deanna (Tom)Tackett, Donna (Al) Gomez, Kay (Kevin) Cardwell and David )Susan) Osborne; his great nieces and nephews, Jason and Jarod Osborne, Shelby Parsons, Sidney Cardwell, Shane Perkins, Nolan Tackett, Alex and Andrea Gomez.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 from 11 am until 2 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2 pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding.
