Jessie Ray O'Banion

Mr. Jessie Ray O'Banion, age 72, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at the Owenton Manor. Born July 25, 1940 in Owen County, he was the son of Melvin O'Banion who survives and the late Florence Elmo Wainscott O'Banion. Mr. O'Banion was a retired farmer and was preceded in death by his siblings, Anna Lou Caldwell and David O'Banion. Surviving are his daughters, Linda (Gary) Taulbee of Worthville and Donna (Kash) Taulbee of Sanders; seven brothers, James, Clifford, Marvin, Melvin, William Lee, Woody and Kenneth; two sisters, Betty Maine and Mary Turner; four grandchildren, Jessica, Becky, RoyKash and Shannon Taulbee and four great grandchildren. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, December 28th from 11am until the time of the service at 2pm. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
