Jerry C. Hammond

Jerry C. Hammond, 65, passed away Saturday February 23, 2019 in Franklin Co. He was born on May 8, 1953 the son of the late Ray and Janice Tillett Hammond. He was also preceded by two sisters Sandy Boyd and Linda Wainscott. Jerry was a carpenter and loved fishing and "collecting". He is survived by his daughter, Brandy (Randall) Farmer and two sisters, Vickie (Eddie) Bell and Brenda Wray. Four grandchildren, Emily, Malone, Charlie and Rachel also survive. Some of his closest friends were Ross and Linda Bishop, Van Davis, Ann Southworth and Marla Stovall. A memorial service will be held at McDonald & New - Main St. on Thursday February 28 at 6 PM. Visitation will begin at 4PM. Donations may be made to help with funeral expenses and given to the family.
