Jerry D. Blackburn

Jerry D. Blackburn, age 63, of Owenton, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

Born October 14, 1956, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Edgar and Lula Gordy Blackburn. Jerry was an over the road truck driver and was an avid animal lover.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara SMith Blackburn; his children, Thomas Blackburn and Jessica Blackburn and his siblings, Archie "Butch" Blackburn, David Blackburn, Timmy Blackburn, Linda Harris and Lynn Garcia.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  To honor Jerry's memory, his family suggests donations be made to either Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice or an Animal Charity of your choice.
