Jenny Louise Keith

Virginia Louise "Jenny" Keith, age 77, of Owenton passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born August 22, 1943, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late H.F. and Edith Green Ellis and preceded in death by her siblings, Randall Ellis and Norma Woolums. Jenny was a devout lifelong member of the Assemblies of God. She was a homemaker and worked for Union Underwear. She loved growing plants, cooking and reading, especially her Bible.

She is survived by her husband of over 59 years, Dallas Keith who she married on March 2, 1961; her son, Darren (Tonya) Keith; her daughter, Dana (Ken) Pagano; her granddaughter Ava Keith; her brother, Charlie (Carol) Ellis and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Sunday, September 20, 2020, from 4 - 8 pm. This will be a pass-through visitation with social distancing and masks required. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1pm with Bro. Steven Lewis presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice.
