Jaynie Ruth Vannarsdall

Miss Jaynie Ruth Vannarsdall, age 64, of Owenton, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2025, at Frankfort Regional Medical Center. She was born on September 23, 1960, to the late Frank and Beulah Ellis Vannarsdall.

A 1978 graduate of Owen County High School, Jaynie was a devout lifelong member of Beechwood Assembly of God, where her faith was evident in her service as the church’s housekeeper and as a teacher of the Toddlers' Sunday school class. She had a special gift for connecting with children and cherished her role in shaping their early understanding of faith and love.

Jaynie found joy in life's simple pleasures, particularly spending time at home surrounded by the family she adored. She also took immense pride in serving her community, dedicating several years alongside her mother to the Owen County Clothing Center. Jaynie’s gentle heart, steadfast faith, and dedication to her family and church will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

She will be missed by her nephew, Ryan (Kaylan) Vannarsdall; great nephew, Bryce Vannarsdall; and a host of extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Jaynie was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene "Bugs" Vannarsdall, and her nephew, Stephen Vannarsdall.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 11 am until 1 pm.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Bro. Scott Power officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.
