Jared Allen Epperson

Jared Allen Epperson, age 41, of Owen County, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

Born August 31, 1979, in Carrollton, KY, he was the son of Jerry Epperson and Bonita Gaines House. Jared was a big guy with and even bigger heart who enjoyed being outside, loved animals, hunting mushrooms and most of all being a dad. He was a glass blower and a carpenter and was passionate about music.

Jared will be missed by his parents, Bonita (Tim) House and Jerry Epperson; his daughter, Willow Rain Epperson; his brothers, Derrick (Tiffany) Epperson and Andrew (Julie) Epperson; his paternal grandfather, Arvin "Bud" Epperson; his nieces and nephews, Landen, Sadie and Chloe; his girlfriend, Kristen Cook and a host of extended family and friends.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Memorial Contributions can be made to Owen County Friends of Animals, or the Arts Council. A memorial gathering will be held at a future date at his family farm.
