Jane Ellen Cook

Jane Ellen Cook, age 69, of Owenton passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Owenton Center. Born December 15, 1946 in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Hollie and Lula Perkins. Jane Ellen lived much of her life in the Mussel Shoals community with her Norvin Cook who preceded her in death in 2013. She was a homemaker, farmer and member of the Mussel Shoals Baptist Church. Surviving are her brother Willard (Lillie) Perkins; her sister, Mary Lee Lewis and the son she raised as her own, Rance Romans as well as several nieces and nephews. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 11am until 1pm. Funeral service will follow at 1pm with Bro. Larry Adkins presiding. Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to the Mussel Shoals Baptist Church.
