James Leon Tuttle

Leon Tuttle, 95, passed away on July 3, 2020, at his home in Jonesville. He was born in Estill County, KY the son of the late James A. and Maggie Witt Tuttle and was also preceded by his nine siblings. Leon was a lifelong farmer having raised tobacco and cattle. He was always satisfied with what he had and never met a stranger. He had a kind heart and was always willing to give or help whoever was in need.

Surviving are his children, Karen (Gil) Schmidt, Albert (Yvonne) Tuttle, Teresa Lynn (Keith) Race and Melissa (John) Robbins, six grandchildren, Katie Brick, Sarah Paige Wood, Kaylie Williams, Donald Keith Race, Kristen Tuttle, and Brooklynn Cracium and one great-granddaughter, Ava Grace Brick.

A pass-thru visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 7 from 11 AM til 1 PM at the McDonald & New Funeral Home Seminary Street location. Social distancing and masks are required. The funeral will begin at 1 PM and burial will follow in the Poplar Grove Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Jonesville United Methodist Church.
