James Bartley “J.B.” Stockton, age 48, passed away Saturday, February 20th at his mother’s home in Batavia, OH. Born August 29, 1961 in Cincinnati he was the son of Laura Lakes Harris of Batavia and the late Earl Stockton and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin B. and William A. Stockton. In addition to his mother he is survived by a daughter, Alisha Mae Stockton of Warsaw, four brothers, Johnny Johnson of Owenton, Tony Johnson of Cincinnati, Richard Stockton of Falmouth and Steven Harris of Cincinnati, four sisters, Dosha Lee Johnson of Florida, Betty Johnson of Cincinnati, Karen Owens of Indianapolis and Bettie Renee Stockton of Cincinnati. One granddaughter, Savannah Brown also survives. Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday, February 25th, from 11am-3 pm with funeral services following at 3pm. Burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery.
