James P. House

James P. House, age 71, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Owenton Healthcare.

James was born in Owenton on October 22, 1953, one of six children, to the late Raymond and Isabel Cook House. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Edward House, Walker House, and Linda Sue House Collins.  James was a lifelong farmer who enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, going fishing, and feeding his deer by hand in Hideaway Hills.

He will be missed by his sisters, Clara House Burton, Doris Ann Smith, and Terry Back, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family.

New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends for visitation at the Main Street location on Thursday, June 26, 2025, from 5- 7 pm.  Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 am with Pastor, Walter Fugate presiding.  Burial will be in the Monterey Cemetery.
