James Russell "Buck" Glore

James Russell “Buck” Glore, 84 of Owenton died Saturday, November 11th at the Florence Park Care Center. Born June 26, 1927, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Atha Orsburn Glore. Also preceded in death were three sisters, Virginia Dunavent, Lucille Gullion, and Thelma Richardson and one brother, Larry Glore. Buck was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in Owenton. Surviving are his wife, Naomi Dickerson Glore of Owenton; one daughter, Teresa (Dwight) Sanders of Owenton, two granddaughters, Jessica Hall and Jasmine Lawson and two great-granddaughters; Juliana and Jaren Hall. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Tuesday, November 15th from 10am until Noon. Funeral services will at Noon with Bro. Roy Carmack presiding. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.
