James David Parks

James David Parks, 51, of Milton, died Sunday, March 15, 2009 at his residence. Born August 25, 1957, in Breathitt County he was the son of the late Luther and Geneva Lansaw Parks and was preceded in death by his siblings, Jesse, Eugene and Wanda Parks. James is survived by his son, Charles Luther Parks of Norfolk, VA; four daughters, Christina Rowland of Norfolk, VA, Jamie Parks of Bedford, Laura Miller of Milton, Amber Crawford of Carrollton and Melissa Parks of Pleasureville; two brothers, Ray Parks of Ft. Wayne, IN and Kenneth Parks of Georgetown; two sisters, Norma Diemer of Ft. Wayne, In and Deborah Garrett of Walton. Ten grandchildren also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Thursday, March 19th, from 11-2 pm. Funeral Services will follow at 2pm Tuesday Bro. Jimmy Cox officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to funeral expenses.
