Jackie Ray Blankenship, Sr. age 75, of Owenton, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center.Born July 19, 1941, in West Virginia, he was the son of the lateBernard England and Grace Nell Blankenship. Jackie was retired truck driver for Thacker Aluminum. Surviving are his children, Janie (Michael) Wainscott, Jack Blankenship, Jr., Carol (Brad) Wilhoite, Jessica (Scott) Durham and Debra Viock; two sister, Penny Sanders and Betsy England; seventeen grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday.
