Jackie Connelly Allnutt

Jacqueline "Jackie" Connelly Allnutt, age 89, of Owenton, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020.

Born November 12, 1930 in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late Mark Grady Connelly and Martha Ball Connelly Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Lloyd Allnutt; her brother Donald Conley and step sister, Marilyn Haydon and her grandson, Christopher Allnutt. Jackie was a homemaker and a member of the Owenton First Baptist Church where she volunteered in the Family Life Center for many years.  She was a member of the D.A.R. and a volunteer for many years at the Extension Office. Jackie loved crafting, sewing and traveling the U.S. with Stewart Tours.  Most of all she loved her family and being Mama Jackie to all of her family.  She loved feeding her family and alway had snickerdoodle or sugar cookies made or nabs in her pocket, no one was leaving her house hungry.

She will be missed by her sons, Don (Glenda) Allnutt of Owenton and Tom (Jessica) Allnutt of Florida; her grandchildren, Laura, Rebecca, Don Jr., Josh, Annalee and Billie; eleven great grandchildren and her step sister, Carolyn Whitson.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 4-7pm. This will be a pass-through visitation with social distancing and masks required. A private funeral will follow. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorial contributions may be made to Owenton First Baptist Church or the Owen County Children's Fund.
