Jack Sampson Ponder

Jack Sampson Ponder, 30, of Owenton died, Friday, July 18, 2008. Born August 7, 1977, in Manchester he was the son of the late Charles E. Ponder and was preceded in death by his brother, Max Dale Brock. He is survived by his mother, Shirley Smith Ponder of Owenton; three brothers, Joe Ponder and Victor and Marlow Brock all of Owenton; three sisters, Suzanne Ellis and Connie Simpson of Owenton and Janet Ponder of Pineville and his girlfriend Nancy Broughton of Stamping Ground. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Arrangements are being handled by McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Family will receive friends at the Seminary Street location, Monday, July 21st, from 11am until 1pm. Funeral services will follow at 1pm, with Bro. Kerry Spencer officiating.
