Hobert Webster

Hobert Webster, 91, of New Liberty passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013. Born September 8, 1922 in Wheatley, KY, he was the son of the late John W. and Bessie Orsburn Webster and the widower of Evelyn Harris Webster. Mr. Webster was a farmer and a member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are his daughter Geneva C.(Corkey) Gibson of Independence; his son John Cecil Webster of New Liberty; his sister, Edna Herndon of Owen County; three grandchildren, Lisa (David) Johnston, Tracy (Mike) Jankowski and Tim (Nannie) Webster. Five great grandchildren also survive, Derrick and Kristen Hurtt, Ben Johnston, Zachary and Luke Jankowski. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, November 18th from 10am until 1pm. Funeral services will be held at 1pm with Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier officiating. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Erlanger Lions Club or the Owen County Senior Citizens Center.
