Hettie Christine Pace Hearne

Hettie Christine Pace Hearne, 89, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Owenton Manor. She was born March 14, 1921 in Owen Co. the daughter of the late William “Bill” and Jodie Kemper Pace and was also preceded by a sister, Mary Pace and her husband Albion. She was a housewife and member of the Poplar Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons, Donald, Billy (Barbara Carolyn) and Bobby (Barbara Jean) Hearne and a daughter, Evelyn Hearne all of Poplar Grove, four grandchildren, Billy Scott (Madge), Michael (Mindy) Stephen (Rebecca) Hearne and Pamela (Lanny) Patton. Ten great grandchildren also survive. McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. The funeral will be held at 11am Thursday, October 28th and visitation is Wednesday from 4 to 8 at the Main Street location. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Poplar Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
