Henry Harris

Henry Harris, age 82 of Owenton passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Owenton Center. Born May 28, 1934, in Owen County he was the son of the late John Henry and Mary Lou Harris and the widower of Ollie Todd Harris. Know as John Henry to family and friends he delivered bulk mail for the US Postal Service and was a member of the Owenton Second Baptist Church. Surviving are his children, Steven D. Evans, Gary Jackson, Gregory (Cathy) Jackson and Lewis Jackson of Indiana, Darlene (Ray) Jackson Collins of New Mexico, Charles (Vara) Jackson of Texas, John Henry Jackson of Indiana and Ada Jackson of KY. Also surviving are his siblings, Charles "Chetta" Harris, Earl Harris, Alma (Bishop, Carl) Behanana, Leroy Harris and Eugene (Linda) Harris. McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will hold a memorial service on Monday, November 14, 2016 at 11am at the Owenton Second Baptist Church.
