Helen Smith

Helen Shepherd Smith, 70 of Warsaw passed away Tuesday at the St. Elizabeth Healthcare. She was the daughter of the late Pearl and Sarah Joseph Shepherd. She was the wife of Clyde Smith of Warsaw. She is also survived by two sons; Dennis Smith of Warsaw and Clinton Clyde of Warsaw. Two daughters; Sheila Rae Smith of Warsaw and Samantha Rae Smith of Warsaw. 12 brothers and sisters; Ruby Clemons, Willie Shepherd, Sylvia Pfefferle, Reedie Shepherd, A.B. Shepherd, Kenny Shepherd, Thelma Trent, Elizabeth Trent, Susanna Crossman, Ruth McNivin, E.P. Shepherd and Soloman Shepherd. She was preceded in death by her brother; Pearl Shepherd Jr. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren; Clinton Clyde, Samantha Rae Smith, Shane Roberts, Shannon Marie Smith and Scott Smith. One great-grandchild; Jacobi Smith. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, at 1pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw. Visitation will begin at 10am. Burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
