Hazel Wallace

Hazel Wallace, a Florence resident, passed away Saturday Feb. 7 at the St. Elizabeth Hospice at the age of 85. She was born in Warsaw the daughter of the late Charlie and Lona Belle Smith Martin. She was also preceded in death by a son Charles Martin. She retired from the Liberty Cherry & Fruit Company and attended the Lawrenceburg Apostolic Church. She is survived by her husband James Wallace of Florence, her daughter Carol Overstreet of Florence, three grandchildren: Dede, Chris and Angie, eight great-grandchildren: Alesha, Neil, Daniel, Andre, Noel, Shonda, Hannah and Tisha, six great-great-grandchildren: Madison, Brooke, Sean, Dustin, Jada and Jaselyn. Visitation will be from 10 AM til 2PM on Tuesday and the funeral at 2PM at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Elizabeth Hospice and burial will be in the Warsaw Cemetery.
