Hattie Duvall Holder

Hattie Duvall Holder, age 99, of Glencoe, passed away Saturday, March 50, 2011, at the Gallatin Healthcare Center. Born August 26, 1911 in Franklin County, she was the daughter of the late John and Mae Bridges Duvall and the widow of James R. Holder. Her sons, Randell and Douglas Holder and daughter Anita Holder also preceded her in death. Surviving are her son, Jimmy (Betty Ann) Holder; two daughters Connie (Lewis) Clifton and Debbie (John) Smith; a daughter in law, Marlene Holder; a brother, Marvin Duvall; two sisters, Irma Anderson and Lois Towles; seven grandchildren, Todd and Troy Holder, Chad Clifton, Josh and Katie Smith, Traci Courtney and Brook Moores; six great grandchildren and a special niece, Nancy (Billy) Herron. . McDonald & New Funeral Homes is in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Monday, March 7th from 4-8pm. Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Stamping Ground Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Poplar Grove Baptist Church.
