Harry Ashcraft

Harry Ashcraft, age 93, of Warsaw, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Gallatin Health.

Born April 25, 1928, to the late William Clarence and Minnie Mae McGill Ashcraft. He was also preceded in death by his wife Freda L. Dunaway Ashcraft; his siblings, Florence Miller, Virginia Morgan, Bertha Owens, Robert Ashcraft, and Russell Ashcraft. Harry was a general contractor. He spent a lot of his time at the flea market as a vendor. Harry was always telling a good story or watching his old TV shows. In his free time, he enjoyed tinkering or listening to country-western music.

He is survived by his two sons; Russell Ashcraft, Harry Ashcraft Jr.; his two daughters; Freda Hoover, Linda Bressler; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Nancy Dunaway; brother-in-law Leroy Dunaway and numerous nieces and nephews.

McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main street location on Friday, October 15, 2021, from 11 Am to 1 PM with the funeral to follow at 1 PM. Burial to follow at the Jonesville Cemetery.
