Harold Wayne Thomas

Harold Wayne Thomas, 68 of Wheatley died Tuesday at the St. Luke West Hospital. He was the son of the late Ralph and Lillian Skirvin Thomas. He was the husband of Bonnie Noell Thomas of Wheatley. Harold was a Farmer and was retired from General Motors. He was a member of the Paint Lick Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He was also a minister and was also a Sunday School Teacher. He was an Army Veteran. Harold is survived by his wife: Bonnie Joan Thomas of Wheatley, two sons: Harold Thomas Jr. of Vevay, Michael Wayne Thomas of Pleasant, Indiana. Three Daughters: Janie Sue Barnes of Wheatley, Jennifer Sue Hon of Florence, Indiana, and Stephanie Jane Honaker of Wheatley. One Brother: Donald Thomas of Patriot, Indiana, Two Sisters: Ovida Young of Richwood, KY and Barbara Ann Jones of Arkansas. Also surviving are seventeen Grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Thomas Jr. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 2pm at the Paint Lick Baptist Church. Visitation will begin at the church at Noon on Friday. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-9pm at the Garnett-New-McDonald Funeral Home in Warsaw, Ky. Rev. Denny French will be officiating the services. Donations may be made to the Paint Lick Baptist Church. Pallbearers: Adam Wolf, Josh Hon, Tyler Trame, Philip Barnes, Danny Hon, David Honaker, Harold Thomas III, and Anthony Thomas.
