Hallie B Lawhorn

Hallie B. Lawhorn, 83, of Owenton passed away Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Owenton Center.Born July 21, 1934, in Owen County, she was the daughter of the late James and Eula Ennis Wainscott.  Hallie was retired from Art Gill Co. where she was a typesetter and book binder.  She was a member of the Hesler Assembly of God, loved to travel and adored her dogs.Surviving are her siblings, Beulah Stivers, Della Mae Jackson and Les Wainscott.McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements.  family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from Noon until 2pm.  Funeral services will follow at 2pm with Bro. Brad Banks presiding.  Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators, Hospice of the Bluegrass give.bgcarenav.org
