Hallie Louise Dawson

Hallie Louise Dawson, 91, passed away Thursday March 13, 2014. She was born in Owen County the daughter of the late Albert and Maude Vest Thomas. She was also preceded by her husband, Hubert, her daughter, Shirley Ann Holder, a sister Edith Wainscott and a brother Albert Thomas Jr. Hallie was involved in the Georgetown and Frankfort Homemakers, D.A.R., a member of the Gano Baptist Church and made wedding cakes. Mostly she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Surviving are three sons, Gary Dawson of Frankfort, Lee Dawson of Georgetown and Jeff Dawson of Lexington, a sister Loretta Dunavent of Frankfort, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Visitation is Sunday from 4 to 8 and the funeral is Monday March 17 at 1PM both at McDonald & New Seminary St. Burial will be in the Owenton Cemetery and memorials may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
