Gregory Lee Eversole

Gregory Lee Eversole, aged 70, of Owenton, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, KY.

Born on April 2, 1956, in Parry County, KY, Greg was the son of the late Don and Edna Johnson Eversole. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Juanita Norman Eversole. Greg dedicated over 30 years of service as a welder at Linkbelt. He cherished the simple joys of life, especially being outdoors, hunting, and fishing. His passion for motorsports was well-known among those who knew him.

Greg will be deeply missed by his son, Donnie Eversole, and his daughter-in-law, Kristen, of Lakeland, FL, as well as by his cherished grandchild, Mason Eversole. He is also survived by his uncle, Arnold Eversole, his niece, Amy Humphrey, and many friends and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at the Owenton Cemetery on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at 11 am. Those wishing to join the procession should arrive at New Funeral Homes, 202 North Main Street, Owenton, KY, by 10:30 am. The service will be officiated by Bro. David "Milkweed" Wotier.
