Glenmore Gibson

Glenmore Gibson, 79, of Owenton, died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at the St. Luke Hospital West in Florence. Born July 4, 1929, in Owen County, he was the son of the late Ira Collins and Eunice Hopper Gibson. Glenmore was a farmer and a Korean War Army Veteran. He is survived by his brother Lonnie Gibson of Florence and his sister Lucille Howard of Owenton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8, from 10am – 2 pm at the Main Street location of McDonald & New Funeral Homes. Funeral services will follow at 2pm. Burial will be in Owenton Cemetery with Bro. Craig Howard presiding. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Squiresville Baptist Church.
