Glendane Taylor, 51, passed away Tuesday Oct. 25, 2022 in Edgewood.
He was born in Frankfort, KY the son of the late Billy and Louise Gaines Taylor. He was also preceded by his brother Jeff Taylor, his grandmother, Lou Alma Gaines and a brother-in-law, Gary Smoot. He was a former employee at Crane Composites and a member of South Fork Baptist Church. He loved playing cards, cornhole, fishing and golfing. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed UK and Owen County Basketball. He also loved spending time with his three granddaughters.
He is survived by his wife of over 31 years Patricia Smoot Taylor, his two sons, Daulton (Leslie) Taylor and Zachary (Kylie) Taylor; his three granddaughters, Harper, Aubrey and Tinlee; his aunt, Diane Gaines, his cousins, Heather (David) Gatewood and Tina (Brad) Shryock; his six sister-in-laws, Yvonne (Larry) Karsner, Diane (Gary) Soard, Sharon (Larry) Lankford, Tammy (Timmy) Burke, Verna (Gary) Baker and Lydia Smoot; and a brother-in-law, Junior (Debbie) Smoot.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday Nov. 1 from 4 to 8 at New Funeral Home - Main St. The funeral will be on Wednesday Nov. 2 at 1PM. Burial will follow in the Owenton Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be, Daulton Taylor, Zachary Taylor, Joey Duvall, Bob Wright, Stewart Fightmaster, Dylan Wright, Corey Lankford and Dustin Burke. Honorary pallbearers will be Timmy Burke, Justin Burke, Ethan Lankford, Larry Lankford, Larry Karsner, Gary Soard, Aaron Soard, Dusty Hensley, Clayton Hensley, Tenneson Hensley, David Bruce, Alden Gatewood, Asher Gatewood, Taylor Smoot and Junior Smoot.
